Once built for horticultural education this glass house, surrounding buildings and land has been sold off to developers. This is an unfortunate sign of the times and lack of funding has resulted in the reduction of resources. The current government and Department for Education has a lot to answer for but it will be the next generation that will suffer the most. The glass house is now being used to dry timber, a far cry from its educational purpose.
